The Certificate in Biblical Studies program is designed to give a student a good foundation in Bible knowledge, theology, Christian worldview, and discipleship. It envisions two categories of students: 1) high school students wanting to take a gap year before going on to further studies at another institution; 2) church members who desire to become more knowledgeable and equipped for church ministry. Certificate students must complete the prescribed Bible curriculum, comprising a minimum of 30 semester hours of credit (see curriculum chart), with a cumulative grade point average of not less than 2.5. (CBC utilizes the standard 4.0-point grading scale).
