The Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies is designed to give the student a solid foundation in the content of the Bible, with emphasis on the analysis of biblical books, the unfolding of revelation, and the historical context of the biblical world. This emphasis provides ideal preparation for students desiring to teach and apply the Bible in the home, in the Church, and in the classroom. Bachelor of Arts students must complete the prescribed four years of Bible curriculum (120 credit hours). Theological transfer credits taken at another institution (up to 60 credit hours) will be considered at the dean's discretion.  The degree must comprise a minimum of 120 semester hours of credit, with a cumulative grade point average of not less than 2.5. (CBC utilizes the standard 4.0-point grading scale).
