“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths.”

Proverbs 3:5-6

This precious and powerful passage of Scripture has been a light and lamp to my feet and path throughout my life. I can testify to the Lord’s kind providence in directing each step and bringing my family and I to this place today. It is with great joy and gratitude that I humbly accept the opportunity to serve as the Academic Dean of Christ Bible College & Theological Seminary.

I was born and raised in the great state of Florida, I have been blessed to be married to my childhood sweetheart (met at 11 and married at 20), Stephanie, for 20 years. In that time the Lord has kindly given us three children to love and shepherd Noah, 17; Levi, 10; and Eden, 5.

Growing up, I often asked the Lord to allow me to serve Him in vocational ministry. He has answered that prayer mightily by allowing me to serve as an associate pastor at Crosswalk Church in Daytona Beach since 2004. Alongside my ministry at Crosswalk, I was blessed to work in Christian radio for 17 ½ years as the Program Director of Cornerstone Broadcasting. I left radio in 2022, when the Lord opened the door to teach 7th and 8th grade Bible and Logic at Riverbend Academy. I praise the Lord for each of these opportunities and can see how each one will serve to help me in this new ministry endeavor.

In God’s kindness, He has opened a variety of educational doors allowing me to earn an Associate’s degree in Religion from Liberty University, a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministries from The Master’s University, and most recently, a Master’s of Divinity from Christ Theological Seminary.

As a member of the first graduating class of Christ Theological Seminary, I can testify to the marvelous opportunity that students have, in both our college and seminary, to be trained and equipped to serve our Lord Jesus Christ with greater understanding, passion, and conviction. Our desire to provide a Christ-Centered education is the highest priority as we labor to be obedient to Jesus’ command in the Great Commission to evangelize and disciple. My earnest prayer is that God glorify Himself by strengthening us for the task ahead and that He would expand His kingdom work through the college and seminary.

I would like to express my heart felt gratitude and thanks to the Elders of Riverbend Community Church for their overwhelming support and encouragement as we begin to press on into the future together. I look forward with great anticipation to watching the Lord do great things with CBCTS. I ask for your prayers for the Lord’s wisdom and guidance and am fully persuaded that He will answer these prayers according to the promises of James 1:5.

“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”

Ephesians 3:20-21
